Hi again to my friends

We are in New Year mode. Here are my tips to make it a happy healthy and successful one.

Set some goals for 2006. Think carefully, don’t run amok, but jot down a list of the possible things you may achieve this year.

Write them down, read a few times, then sign. Stick a copy by your bedside, one in the kitchen and bathroom. Ponder these issues regularly, and in your minds eye see them actually taking place. In most, cases they will.

Let good health head the list.

Eat three simple meals a day, ideally low in fat and carbs, high in fibre.

Include plenty of fruit, veggies (as many colours as possible), lean meat, cereals, nuts, berries, shoots, fish (2-3 times a week), legumes, fat reduced dairy products (Fat filled cakes and pastries are bad news).

Try and get 30 minutes walking a day.

Drink 6-8 glasses of water a day.

Aim for 6-8 hours sleep each night. Go easy on caffeine products, such as tea, coffee and cola drinks.

Be nice to others. Smiles make you feel good inside.
